REMOVE HUSK UNTIL WARM AND READY TO EAT – HUSK IS NOT EATABLE.
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Place thawed or frozen tamales in an oven safe dish, cover with aluminum foil for 15 to 20 min until they reach your desired temperature.
- Place thawed or frozen tamales in a microwave safe dish for 2 min if thawed or 5-6 min if frozen with put a cup of water in the microwave to create the steamer effect until they reach your desired temperature. Keep in mind that all microwaves have different settings so it could take a little longer to get to your desired temperature.
- If you a have a steamer basket or a double broiler , place the tamales on the steamer basket and it will take about 10 to 15 until desired temperature.
